The liver is a purely amazing organ that removes toxins from the blood and excretes bike to activate enzymes that help with other bodily functions. The liver produces essential protiens and stores minerals, iron and vitamin A. It is also responsible for destroying old red blood cells. In order to function properly we can help our liver in many ways as follows:
A half tea-spoon of turmeric with a little bit of pepper powder and a glass of warm water helps detoxify the liver. Every morning a daily routine of this recipe will flush out the dietary toxins from our body.
Unlike turmeric, sugar causes an increase in blood glucose and insulin. This stops the liver from creating enzymes needed for the detoxification process. A maximum amount of 30 gm or lower amount of sugar should be maintained.
3. Processed food:
Food like bacon, frozen food and breakfast cereal should be eliminated. They contain chemicals like preservatives and synthetic ingredients that makes it difficult for the body to process.

7. Green tea:
2-3 glasses a day reduce the risk of fatty liver disease. It contains plant based antioxidants that destroy fatty liver and increases the liver functions.
2-3 pieces of garlic before bed at night activate liver enzymes to flush out the toxins from the body. It contains compounds like sulphur, allicin and selenium which protect the liver from any toxic damage.
According to various studies moderate amount of coffee, i.e., a limit of 2 cups daily prevent the liver from building up fat and it also reduces the liver diseases.
This Indian gooseberry in its powdered form is an extensively used in Ayurveda to keep the liver functioning at an optimal level. For better results of liver detoxification through this method, a glass of water with a spoon of powdered amla on an empty stomach in the morning is the best.
